Junior Mysterious Song Contest welcomes the world to United Kingdom for the 24th Edition.
The Junior Mysterious Song Contest #24 will be the 24th edition of the Junior Mysterious Song Contest. It will take place in the Odyssey Complex, located in Belfast, United Kingdom, following the country's victory to host the contest. This will be the fifth time the country hosts the contest.
The contest is scheduled to consist of the grand final, with official dates for the grand final being the 4th September 2019 . As of 25th July 2019, 18 countries have announced their participation in the contest.
Location[]
BBC United Kingdom, announced on 19th June 2019 that their first choice as host arena for the Contest was the Odyssey Complex in Belfast. However other cities and arenas were still able to apply.
The Odyssey Complex in Belfast, which has a capacity of approximately 10,800 attendees, was announced as the host venue on 19th June 2019. This will be the Arena's first time hosting the contest.

On 19th June 2019,BBC announced that Michael McIntyre will be the host of the 24th contest.
Format[]
The competition will consist of a final, a format which will be used for the contest.
Each participating country had their own national jury/HoD. Each member of a respective nation's jury is required to rank every song, except that of their own country, to produce an overall ranking from first to last place. The song which scored the highest overall rank received 12 points, while the tenth-best ranked song received 1 point.
